Shrimp farming in Iran's Golestan province

The only Caspian Sea shrimp farm with an area of 4,000 hectares is located 10 kilometers from the Gomishan coast of Golestan province, located in northern Iran. The shrimp bred in the Gomishan farm is of the vannamei type, which fully grows and reaches a weight of 15 grams in 120 days due to the low salinity of the water and suitable climate and soil.
