Foreign pilgrims crossing Chazabeh border

A number of Afghan and Pakistani pilgrims heading to the holy shrine of Imam Hussein (A.S) cross the Chazabeh border point to enter Iraq. The Chazabeh border is situated 110 kilometers northwest of the Iranian city of Ahvaz in Khuzestan province. The Iraqi city of Al-Amarah in Maysan province is the closest city to the border crossing, which is 70 kilometers away from the Iran-Iraq border. (IRNA photos/Ali Moaref)
