Tehran, IRNA – Well-known Iranian conductor and composer Ali Rahbari has been invited to conduct symphony orchestras during the Shenzhen International Festival in China later this year.

Rahbari will conduct two works from Czech composer Antonín Leopold Dvořák and Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky on October 12, 2023 in Shenzhen, the IRNA reported on Saturday.

The China Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra seeks to remove cultural rift between countries around the world, directors of the festival say.

Ali (Alexander) Rahbari had invited China Philharmonic Orchestra to Iran about six years ago. He has already led China Philharmonic Orchestra in Beijing.

The Iranian conductor has attended major international festivals in cities like Vienna, Pretoria, Brussels, Geneva, Hong Kong, and Caracas, among others.
