Damascus, IRNA – Justice ministers of Iran and Syria have signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at shating experiences on legal and judicial affairs.

The document was signed by Iran’s Amin Hossein Rahimi and Syria’s Ahmad al-Sayyed in the capital Damascus during the Iranian minister’s visit to the Arab country.

Under the MoU, the two sides agreed to dispatch experts to share experiences on judicial affairs. They also agreed to hold training sessions and seminars, and conduct case studies in order to make improvements in terms of specialized and scientific aspects.

The Iranian minister, during his stay in Damascus, also met with Syrian Foreign Minister Faisal Mekdad and Parliament Speaker Hammouda Sabbagh.

Amin Hossein Rahimi arrived in Syria on Wednesday at the head of a delegation.
