Chel Bani; traditional fishery technique practiced in Iran's Qeshm

Chel Bani is a traditional fishery technique used in the west of Qeshm Island in southern Iran. Local fishermen use a smart combination of woods and nets in small bays in the Persian Gulf to catch sea animals, especially shrimp. (IRNA photos/ Asghar Besharati).
