Islamabad, IRNA – Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have held talks on strengthening trade cooperation between the two countries.

The talks were held at the Pishin-Mand border crossing on Thursday, according to a report released by Sharif's office.

Today's talks have been the third meeting between the heads of the two states over the past year.

Raisi and Sharif premier inaugurated a joint border market andan electricity transmission line earlier on Thursday.

President Raisi traveled to the province of Sistan and Baluchestan earlier in the day to both meet the Pakistani PM and to inaugurate several infrastructure projects in the region.
