Rooieen; Iran's first traditional textile village

Rooieen is the first village in Iran to be registered for its traditional textile workshops. Women in the village are involved in textile and handicrafts jobs. It is a famous tourist attraction in North Khorasan province in northeast Iran. (IRNA photos/Vahid Khademi).
