Tehran, IRNA – Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has underlined the need for upgrading interactions and cooperation between Iran and Belgium in different scientific, technological, industrial and agricultural fields.

In a phone conversation with Belgium’s Prime Minister Alexander De Croo on Thursday, the Iranian president pointed to 130 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries and called for speeding up the implementation of bilateral accords.

During the phone call, President Raisi also calleed on European states to stop aiding and abetting terrorist and separatist groups on their soil.

De Croo, for his part, expressed satisfaction with the mutual agreements reached between the two countries and stressed the necessity for expanding and enhancing bilateral cooperation in different arenas.
