The Yemeni prisoners were transferred to the Yemeni capital by aircraft belonging to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
The one-sided move by Saudi Arabia to release the Yemeni prisoners takes place three days after an organized prisoner swap between the warring sides as part of diplomatic efforts to maintain ceasefire and pave the way for peace.
In line with an agreement by the two sides for the swap of prisoners in the holy month of Ramadan, 706 Yemeni prisoners were earlier traded for 181 prisoners from the coalition countries, including Saudi Arabia, Sudan, and other nations.
The warring sides had reached an agreement in Geneva to swap 887 prisoners in three stages.
