Tehran, IRNA –Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf offered his condolences over the deaths of 15 people in the Wednesday terror attack in Shiraz, southern Iran.

In a message, Qalibaf said that enemies in recent days failed to achieve their goals and thus resorted to a measure similar to what Takfiri terrorists take, shooting to death defenseless people.

This tragic incident is an ultimatum to all those who have in recent weeks created unrest and paved the way for enemies’ plots, Qalibaf added.

He also said that the Iranian people have already shown that they will not back down from their revolution’s goals in the wake of such measures.

Officials in Shiraz said that 27 people were also wounded in the shooting attack that took place at the city’s Shah Cheragh holy shrine when the religious site was crowded.
