Tehran, IRNA – Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian was told by his Iraqi and Omani counterparts that Saudi Arabia released the Iranian pilgrim who was detained during the Hajj pilgrimage.

Amirabdollahian had separate phone conversations with Iraq’s Foreign Minister Fuad Hussain and Omani Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi on Friday.

They individually told Amirabdollahian that Saudi authorities have released Iranian hajji Khalil Dardmand.

The Iranian foreign minister thanked his Iraqi and Omani counterparts for their efforts in this regard and hoped that the Iranian citizen would soon return home.
