Mashad, IRNA – Deputy Iranian Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy Mehdi Safari said that the export of knowledge-based products reached $836m during the first quarter of the current Iranian calendar year.

Speaking in a meeting with members of the Mashad Chamber of Commerce, Safari said that the figure was worth $400m last year.

He added that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is following up on developing economic relations with the neighboring, European, and African states.

He noted that the ministry has put on its agenda all-out cooperation with Afghanistan.

Safari went on to say that the Foreign Ministry prioritizes presenting services for joint knowledge-based productions abroad.
