In an interview with Israel National News on Wednesday, the Newsmax correspondent said that Biden was going to the West Asia “hat in hand” while he was “politically weak.”
Asked whether Biden would pressure Israel for more concessions and "gestures" towards the Palestinian Authority, Cohen said, "I do know that just reading the tea leaves and reading the polls, that President Biden comes here to Israel politically weak, he's got a very weak hand. And I don't know what kind of capital he has to pressure Israel - or to pressure Saudi Arabia, in fact."
"President Biden has to go to Saudi Arabia, sort of, we're hearing observers say, 'hat in hand,' to say, 'We need you to produce more oil,'" Cohen added.
Biden began his West Asia tour on Wednesday. He will visit the occupied Palestine, the West Bank, and then Saudi Arabia.
