Mikhail Ulyanov, the Permanent Representative of Russia to the International Organizations and Russia’s top negotiator in Vienna, has also been present in the talks, according to his own Twitter post on July 1.
“It was a very professional exchange of views on the current situation around the #JCPOA and prospects of the #ViennaTalks,” Ulyanov wrote.
“My assessment: despite all the difficulties, the nuclear deal still can be restored. For this to happen the US should demonstrate greater flexibility.”
Talks on removal of the sanctions were held in the Qatari capital on June 28 with participation of Iran’s top negotiator, Deputy Secretary-General of European External Action Service Enrique Mora and the US Special Envoy for Iran Robert Malley.
“We will keep working with even greater urgency to bring back on track a key deal…," Mora tweeted after the Doha talks.
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian, too, said in a Twitter post Bagheri Kani pursues the negotiations in full coordination with him, logically, relying on strong reasons, and dynamically, aimed at removal of sanctions.
America’s rationalism and offering a sustainable guarantee to ensure Iran’s full economic benefit from the agreement can lead to being fruitful of the negotiations, he added.
