Supreme Leader to receive lawmakers today

Tehran, IRNA – Iranian lawmakers are planned to meet with Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on Wednesday.

Majlis (Parliament) Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf announced that parliamentarians would go to meet the Supreme Leader after today's open session.

Earlier today, Qalibaf was reelected as speaker with 194 out of total 290 lawmakers.

He will act as Majlis speaker for the third consecutive year.
