Tehran, IRNA – Iran and Oman trade set a new record in the last Persian year (March 2021-March 2022), with a 53 percent increase to 1.336 billion dollars compared to the year before.

Head of Iran-Oman Commerce Chamber Mohsen Zarrabi said that Iran’s export to Oman amounted to 438 million dollars in the Persian year 1399 (March 2020-March 2021), while the value was 716 million dollars the next year (March 2021-March 2022) which indicates a 63-percent increase.

Zarrabi said that the numbers were unprecedented in the last 20 years, as the current administration in Iran taking office last year has doubled supporting the private sector.
