Tehran, IRNA – Iran is scheduled to resume gas production in Salman Field, shared with the UAE, within a month after a damaged pipeline is repaired, according to an oil and gas official familiar with the matter.

Amir Salari said on Wednesday that the repair of the damaged pipeline in a depth of 60 meters under the sea is being carried out by a domestic contractor.

He added that Iran has also plans to replace the pipeline pumping gas from the offshore field to Siri Island with a new one within a while as the pipeline has been repaired for several times.
