Teams from countries participant to the 2015 Iran nuclear deal, namely Iran, Britain, China, France, Germany and Russia, are holding expert discussions in the Austrian capital to reach an agreement on removing US sanctions against Iran and having Iran resume full compliance with the deal.
After several days of throwing wrench into the talks, Europeans accepted discussing Iran's proposed drafts, but they are trying now to impose US opinions through their excessive demands.
In the meantime, some Western media that have been trying to spread negative news guided by the European diplomats are reporting that the talks have been halted.
A source close to the Iranian team completely denied the report in an interview with IRNA.
The talks are proceeding seriously based on Iran's proposed drafts and this will be continued today (Sunday), the source said.
The source also said that the Europeans continue to make excessive demands and this has caused the current sluggish progress.
However, the source said, the talks have not been halted.
The Europeans seem to be putting pressure on Iran by keeping up with excessive demands and machination to push it to accept their demands beyond the JCPOA.
Iran has repeatedly made clear that it will not give in to the pressure.
