London, IRNA - Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) gave an Outstanding Achievements Award to Iran’s Nuclear Agricultural Research School.

As a side event in the General Conference of the IAEA to recognize contributions to plant mutation breeding, the Nuclear Agricultural Research School affiliated to the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) was given the Outstanding Achievements Award.

The award was handed out by FAO Director-General QU Dongyu and IAEA Director-General Rafael Grossi to the Permanent Mission of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the United Nations and other International Organizations in Vienna.

AEOI chief Mohammad Eslami traveled to Vienna last week to attend the IAEA General Conference.
