New Delhi, May 29, IRNA – First group of Iranian students who had been stuck in India due to shutting down flights as preemptive measure to fight the COVID-19 pandemic returned home through Iranian airline Mahan Air late on Friday.

In Tehran, the students will be kept in quarantine for two weeks to make sure they are in good health.

The Iranian students returned home with the help and management of Iran's Embassy in India.

It was last week that Iran Civil Aviation Organization announced that transport of Iranian students from India and Iranian nationals from Pakistan will take place through emergency flights and under the health protocols.
