Tehran, Dec 27, IRNA – Iran and Afghanistan on Thursday discussed regional and international developments and influence of the developments on their security conditions.

Iran's Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamhani and Afghan national security advisor in Kabul also reviewed Iran-Afghanistan security cooperation during presidency of Hamid Karzai and Mohammad Ashraf Ghani.

Shamkhani then met and conferred with Chief Executive Officer Abdullah Abdullah, discussing expansion of Iran-Afghanistan cooperation in political, economic and security as well as terrorism, drugs, organized crimes, border and regional domains.

He also met with former Afghan president Hamid Karzai.
