Natanz, Kashan, April 15, IRNA – A French tourist died of heart attack while visiting the historical village of Abyaneh in this county, central Iran, Natanz governor said Thursday.

Youssef Hassani said the 70-year-old French retired teacher was accompanied by his wife and brother in a group of 20 French tourists.
He was immediately transferred to the emergency board of Khatamolanbia Hospital in Natanz County and underwent necessary medical care but he did not survive, he noted.
His body will be returned to France after required measures are taken, the governor said.
Abyaneh is located 40 kilometers northwest of Natanz in Isfahan Province and was registered as an Iranian national monument in 1975.
Characterized by a peculiar reddish hue, the village is one of the oldest in Iran, attracting numerous native and foreign tourists year-round, especially during traditional feasts and ceremonies.
