Tehran, March 14, IRNA – Iran demonstrated a strong presence in the International Tourism Berlin (ITB) exhibition which was opened on Wednesday March 9 with the participation of over 180 world countries.

Iran, with 7 stands and presence of 35 active tourism companies, had effective interactions with an aim of developing its tourism.
On the sidelines of the exhibition, Asghar Qajari, head of the Tourism Commission of Iran Chamber of Commerce together with Morteza Rahmani Movahed, Deputy at Iran’s Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization, inspected the Iranian stands and discussed with the participants ways to expand tourism economy.
Meanwhile, ideas were proposed on expanded cooperation in the field of tourism with an aim of encouraging investors to make investment in Iran’s tourism.
Holding investment seminar in Iran and inviting Iranians residing in Germany who are interested in making investment in different provinces of the county was among the proposed ideas.
During the activity of the exhibition, Qajari announced readiness of the Chamber of Commerce to welcome investors outside the country and the required cooperation for acceleration of tourism investment to realize targets in this regard.
The exhibition ended its work on Sunday, March 13.
