In photos: Tea harvesting in northern Iran

Tea is harvested three times a year in Iran's Gilan and Mazandaran provinces: spring (late April), summer (early June), and autumn (September-October). According to recent statistics, these northern provinces have 55,000 tea farmers cultivating 25,000 hectares of tea plantations.
