Tehran, IRNA – Iranian goalkeeper Alireza Beiranvand has set a new Guinness World Record for the longest football (soccer) dropkick.

Born in 1992, Beiranvand is considered one of the key players of Iran’s national football team, also known as Team Melli.

The keeper is known for his remarkable throws at the international level.
