Australian senator resigns in protest at slaughter in Gaza

Australian Senator Fatima Payman has “with a heavy heart but a clear conscience” resigned from the Labor Party as she felt “compelled to be the true voice” of the people “in the receiving end of injustice,” to protest the Australian Government’s silence against the Israeli’s onslaught of Palestinian people, and to “stand on the right side of humanity.”
