Hezbollah launched its drone and missile attacks against targets in the northern Israeli-occupied territories in support of Palestinian resistance fighters on October 8, a day after the regime began its war on Gaza.
Now, according to London-based independent Arabic newspaper Rai al-Youm on Sunday, an Israeli military source has described Hezbollah’s missile attacks as accurate and effective.
The source said that Hezbollah hits Israeli defense systems on a daily basis and fires missiles from different directions while the number of the projectiles and the amount of their explosives vary.
The same source referred to Burkan missiles used by Hezbollah against the Israeli targets, acknowledging their destructive power, and said that the resistance movement also possesses drones that are capable of carrying 20 to 30 kg of explosives.
Israeli media reports have in the past weeks published reports on mass evacuations in the northern occupied territories in fear of Hezbollah’s missiles and drones, which according to the regime’s high-ranking military sources, have penetrated deep inside the occupied territories and caused extensive damage to military sites.
