Tehran, IRNA – Iran’s customs administration (IRICA) has confiscated a shipment of fertilizers manufactured in the Israeli-occupied territories of Palestine.

IRICA said in a Monday report that its officers at Bazargan border crossing in northwest Iran had seized a cargo of Israeli-made potassium nitrate that was intended for transit through Iran to Uzbekistan.

The seizure comes as the Iranian government has toughened its restrictions on imports and transit of goods manufactured or supplied by the Israeli regime.

The ban was announced last year after the Israeli regime launched a brutal aggression on Palestinians in Gaza.
