The Director General of the Western Europe Department summoned British Ambassador Simon Shercliff, German Ambassador Hans-Udo Muzel, and French Ambassador Nicolas Roche to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday.
He informed them that the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran's actions against the military bases of the Zionist regime were under Article 51 of the United Nations Charter.
The Director General condemned the Israeli regime's recent attack on the embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran and criticized the double standards of the three European countries regarding this issue.
He added that the Islamic Republic of Iran would resolutely defend its sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national interests against any illegal use of force.
The Director General also stated that the Islamic Republic of Iran has always sought to prevent the escalation of tension.
The three European countries' ambassadors said they would reflect the issues to their capitals soon.
In response to the Israeli terrorist attack on Iran's consulate building in Syria on April 1, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps fired dozens of missiles and drones on Israeli targets on April 13.
