Tehran, IRNA - The Israeli regime's economy has reportedly suffered $56 billion in losses since the onset of the occupying entity's genocidal war on Gaza.

According to Al Jazeera TV network, the regime’s economy lost $56 billion following 6 months of war against the Gaza Strip and it witnessed a severe budget deficit and an unprecedented increase in public debt.

The Israeli regime’s Bank Hapoalim announced earlier that the time is ripe for providing an assessment of the economic damage of the ongoing war on Gaza. However, the initial data show that the costs of the conflict will not be less than $7 billion, which may amount to 1.5 percent of the regime’s GDP.

Analysts believe that the economic damage of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm by the Gaza-based Palestinian resistance groups on the Zionist regime will be much more devastating than the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic.
