Following the consultations of Iran's Embassy in Yerevan and based on the agreement on the transfer of convicts between the Iranian and Armenian governments, eight more Iranian prisoners in Armenia were transferred to the Islamic Republic of Iran.
This is the third phase of the transfer of convicts into Iran, which was done upon the Iranian embassy's efforts and the positive cooperation of the Armenian side.
