The president made the comments in Tehran on Wednesday in a meeting with groups of academics and elites who raised their concerns about a host of issues including better distribution of resources to boost scientific activities.
Raisi reiterated his administration’s all-out support for the academics and elites, calling on them to continue working on the scientific growth of the country.
He said that science and technology is among the sectors which the enemy uses to hinder the progress of the country, advising the academics and elites not to give up and lose hope when facing with problems in a bid to encourage optimism and hopefulness in society.
