Rocket strikes targeted the city of Ashkelon, in southern part of the Israeli occupied territories, and surrounding towns near Gaza on Wednesday, Sama news agency reported.
Despite the prolonged war in Gaza, the Palestinian resistance groups have proven their resilience by inflicting heavy blows on the occupying forces.
The Israeli regime launched its genocidal war in Gaza early in October last year, killing more than 31,200 Palestinians, mostly women and children.
