Tehran, IRNA - Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian in a meeting with his Turkish counterpart emphasized the need to make the joint committees of cooperation between the two countries more active in various fields.

Hossein Amirabdollahian met and talked with Hakan Fidan, on the sidelines of the special meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Jeddah on the issue of Gaza.

Amirabdollahian expressed his satisfaction at the meeting with his counterpart and the continuation of continuous consultations, and pointed to the recent successful visit of the President of our country to Ankara and the holding of the eighth meeting of the Supreme Council of the two countries.

He emphasized the importance of implementing the agreements reached in this meeting.
