Kabul, IRNA - Deputy economy minister of Afghanistan's ruling government Abdul Latif Nazari has said that developing cooperation capacities with Iran is on the agenda of the Afghan government.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with IRNA, Nazari said that the recent visits to Turkmenistan and Chabahar are mainly aimed at increasing the level of economic cooperation.

Afghanistan has many capacities to attract investment, especially from its neighbors, he added.

Afghanistan has unique mineral resources in terms of quantity and quality, and it has the best soil for farming and the best water resources, which can attract the attention of its neighbors for investment, he noted.

The country is considered one of the most important countries in the region in the field of exporting fresh and dry organic fruits, which can be exported to its neighbors, Nazari said.

Afghanistan can also develop favorable relations with its neighbors in the road and transportation sector, especially the Khaf-Herat railway.
