Tehran, IRNA- Pramila Jayapal, an American democratic politician serving for Washington's 7th congressional district has turned her party’s attention to growing anger among American voters against the policy of President Joe Biden over the Israeli war on Gaza.

The time has come to listen to the anger caused by the support of the Biden administration for Israel's war in Gaza, Jayapal said, referring to uncommitted ballots cast for Biden in the Michigan primary in his re-election bid.

People are dissatisfied with Joe Biden's policy and positions on Gaza and his support for Israel's crimes, Al Jazeera quoted Jayapal who is known for her progressive stances on various issues such as healthcare, immigration, and workers' rights.

The phrase "the time has come to listen to the anger" is related to her advocacy for addressing the concerns and frustrations of the American people as more than 100,000 Democratic votes garnered by the “uncommitted” campaign, in opposition to the president’s support for Israel’s war on Gaza in the Michigan primary held on Tuesday.

"The results in Michigan make it abundantly clear that voters are not satisfied with the US stance on the Gaza war," she said despite Biden’s victory which was pretty expected in the absence of a contender from the party for the White House.

This is a deep moral issue and the time has come to listen to the people's wishes, the congresswoman advised Biden and his administration.
