Trump’s strong criticism came during a speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Maryland on Saturday evening, IRNA correspondent reported.
"If I was president, the attacks on Israel and Ukraine would never have happened”, Trump claimed as he does in almost all campaign rallies he addresses.
'I am a dissident', Trump said, adding that “A vote for Trump is your ticket back to freedom, it’s your passport out of tyranny and it’s your only escape from Biden and his gang’s fast track to hell,” Trump said while Republican voters headed to the polls in South Carolina primary where he has a 30-point lead over Nikki Haley.
“And in many ways, we’re living in hell right now because the fact is, Biden is a threat to democracy, really is a threat to democracy,” Trump who himself was at the ire of his critics during his first presidency continued.
Ironically the Republican candidate for the White House also talked about as if the US is fighting World War III.
Biden is the most corrupt and incompetent president in American history and he will soon lead to our defeat in World War III, Trump said.
Trump also rebuked former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and her former election rival, saying she said in a debate, "I'm going to take America to war." He added however that it was him who was able to prevent wars from happening.
Trump made virtually no mention of his primary opponent in his speech Saturday. Instead, he centered his address largely on Biden, repeatedly characterizing his political rival and successor’s White House tenure as a “nightmare.”
Trump and his allies see the primary as effectively over, positioning the him as the party’s presumptive 2024 nominee.
