Tehran, IRNA- A Lebanese television network has revealed citing sources on Saturday night that the Zionist regime is preparing for a large-scale attack deep into Lebanon amid growing tensions between the two sides since the launch of Israel’s genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.

The LBC television channel said that an Arab country without mentioning its name or source told Hezbollah officials in a confidential message about Israel’s planned attack on Lebanon with the aim to create chaos in the country.

Israeli media have also reported the movements of the Zionist forces along Lebanon’s southern border, saying thousands of soldiers who left Gaza have reached the areas along Lebanon and hundreds of tanks also moved towards Lebanon.

Itamar Ben Guer, a far-right Israeli minister, in an interview with Channel 14 on January 24 also acknowledged the regime’s plan, saying the attack of the Zionist army on Lebanon's Hezbollah and the continuation of the war against the Gaza Strip will keep going.

A few days after the launch of the Israeli war on Gaza on October 7, Lebanon's Hezbollah was the first resistance group to officially join the Al-Aqsa storm operation by carrying out attacks Israeli targets in the occupied Palestinian territories.

Hezbollah and the Israeli regime have been exchanging artillery and rocket fire almost on a daily basis over the past three months.
