Tehran, IRNA – Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian will visit Pakistan next week at the invitation of his Pakistani counterpart Jalil Abbas Jilani.

During a telephone conversation on Monday between Amirabdollahian and Abbas Jilani, both sides agreed to return their ambassadors to each other’s capitals by Friday this week.

The top Iranian diplomat is set to travel to Islamabad next Tuesday.

Pakistan last Thursday conducted drone attacks in southeastern Iran, a day after Iran carried out strikes on terrorist positions in Baluchistan province in response to recent terrorist attacks on Iranian soil.
