IRNA on Tuesday quoted Samanews as saying that some 50 South African lawyers had decided to sue Washington and London for their complicity in Israeli crimes in Gaza.
The development comes after South Africa filed a case against the Israeli regime at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) for committing genocide in Gaza.
A first hearing on the genocide case started at the ICJ in The Hague, the Netherlands, on January 11.
Many countries and international organizations have voiced their support for South Africa’s genocide lawsuit at the ICJ.
At least 24,100 Palestinians have been martyred and some 60,834 others have been injured in Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023.
