“We need to cooperate with Iran to reinforce the health and education system of the Afghanistan,” Ibad said in an interview with the IRNA on the sidelines of the First Global Health Security Summit in Pakistan which was published on Saturday.
He hailed breakthroughs achieved by Iran in the field of public health and fighting infectious diseases, saying that cooperation with the Islamic Republic will be "a good opportunity for Afghanistan”.
The Taliban official said that cooperation with Iran will enable Afghanistan to benefit from constructive experiences in the field of medical education, pharmaceuticals, and human resource development.
The First Global Health Security Summit was held in Islamabad, Pakistan on January 10-11 under the theme “Together for a Healthy Planet". The meeting aims to foster international cooperation, knowledge exchange, and strategic partnerships to enhance global health security.
