Mousa Farhang is going to Muscat as the new ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Oman.
Farhang has already acted as head of the second department of the Middle East and North Africa of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Iran’s embassy in Tanzania.
He will replace Ali Najafi Khoshroudi.
The volume of trade exchanges between Iran and Oman has increased to $1.887 billion in the Iranian calendar year 1402 which shows a 41 percent hike, year on year.
According to the figures released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), the volume of Iran's exports to Oman has experienced 52 percent growth in the mentioned period.
