This is the first time that no vessels exist in the Eilat port following the threats of Yemen’s Ansarullah movement, the Egyptian network Al Qahera News reported on December 26, according to the IRNA.
The spokesperson of Yemen’s Armed Forces Yahya Saree announced few days ago that the powerful forces of Yemen did perform successful operation against some trade ships destined for the Israeli regime.
Saree said on December 27 that the MSC United container ship was attacked after three-time-given alarm.
Aims behind Yemeni Armed Forces’ operation was to show support for the Palestinian nation, the spokesperson noted.
He went on to say that such operations will continue till removal of the restrictions on the dispatch of medicine and food to the Gaza Strip.
After the Zionist attacks against the Palestinian Resistance movement, Hamas, in Gaza, Yemen started threatening ships which are active in the Red Sea in the interest of the Zionist regime.
The threats are made in protest to the Zionists’ bombardment and aggression against Gaza.
Since October 7, over 20,000 including thousands of children and women have been killed in Gaza.
