Tehran, IRNA – The acting foreign minister of Afghanistan’s ruling government Mawlawi Amir Muttaqi has described Kabul-Tehran ties as those moving towards development.

Hafiz Zia Ahmad Takal, deputy spokesperson of Afghanistan’s Foreign Ministry, wrote Saturday on his X page while quoting Muttaqi as saying.

Muttaqi has made the remarks during his meeting with an Iranian media delegation in Kabul.

The future of Afghanistan and Iran is bright, Muttaqi said in the meeting according to the spokesperson.

As the spokesperson noted, Muttaqi has termed Iran as Afghanistan’s good neighbor.

The two sides have also exchanged views about the situation of Afghanistan and the foreign policy adopted by Taliban, Takal wrote.
