Tehran, IRNA - Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Ali Akbar Ahmadian says the United States and the Israeli regime are the “two-way losers” of the ongoing war of aggression against the Gaza Strip.

Ahmadian made the remarks during a meeting on Tuesday with Adel Abdul-Mahdi, the former prime minister of Iraq, who is in Tehran for a conference on Palestine.

He asserted that both the Zionist regime and the US find themselves in a precarious situation of dual jeopardy.

“The Zionist regime will lose if it continues war; however, if they are forced to halt, it is still a defeat. Similarly, the United States, whether it leaves the region or stays and escalates the conflict, is a loser in both scenarios,” he said.

Ahmadian said that if the resistance front could consolidate its efforts economically, similar to its political and military achievements, it will emerge as a dominant force in regional equations.
