Firouzabadi Dehghani made his remarks in a meeting with the special envoy to the president of Senegal Cheikh Kante in Tehran on Saturday.
Referring to the religious and political closeness between Iran and Senegal, Firouzabadi Dehghani said Tehran is willing to activate scientific cooperation with Dakar.
Senegal will have a bright future, the official added.
For his part, the Senegalese official said he will make use of all potential available to promote scientific and technological cooperation with Iran.
Once Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei had said that the key to progress is science and technology.
