Moscow, IRNA – The Iranian ambassador to Russia has said that large amount of trade between Tehran and Moscow is done through their national currencies, rial and ruble respectively.

Iranian and Russian working groups are active and hold regular talks on baking issues, Kazem Jalali told IRNA on Thursday.

Highlighting the policy on de-dollarization, the ambassador stressed the importance of choosing a single and unified foreign exchange between the two countries.

In his remarks, Jalali referred to Iran’s agricultural exports to Russia during the past year, noting that technological products, chocolate, cookie, cloth, furniture, medical equipment, etc. have been added to the list of exports.
