Tehran, IRNA - An Israeli woman who was released along with her daughter as part of a temporary ceasefire agreement between Hamas and the Israeli regime has sent a heartfelt letter to resistance leaders, extending her gratitude for the exceptional treatment they received while being held in Gaza.

The letter, published by the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, acknowledges the extraordinary humanity shown towards Danielle Aloni and her five-year-old daughter, Emilia, during their detention in Gaza.

“To the generals who have accompanied me in recent weeks, it seems that we will part tomorrow, but I thank you from the bottom of my heart, for the extraordinary humanity you have shown towards my daughter Emilia,” she wrote.

Aloni expressed her deep appreciation for the many hours they spent acting as caretakers, being patient with Emilia, and providing treats, fruits, and whatever was available, even in challenging circumstances in the heart of battle.

“I will forever be a prisoner of gratitude because my daughter did not leave here with psychological trauma,” she wrote.

The letter concludes with wishes for health and love to the leaders of the resistance, expressing a sincere "thank you very much" from Danielle and Emilia.
