Tehran, IRNA – The Jewish leader in Iran has highlighted the Jewish doctrine, emphasizing that occupation of the holy Quds is not among the religion’s lessons.

Speaking to IRNA on Sunday, Rabbi Younes Hamami Lalehzar rejected some doctrine recently attributed by some media to the Jewish religion.

“We feel special inclination towards Beitul Muqaddas, (where Al Aqsa Mosque is located), because it is our Qibla;” meanwhile, none of Jewish religious lessons encourages to occupy it by force, the Jewish leader underlined.

Many of stories released on social media are to divert the direction of fight; just like when some were after sowing discord among Muslims via attributing the terrorist acts of the group of Daesh (ISIS) to Islam, he noted.

As he stressed, what is behind the efforts to interrelate the issues of Jewism and Zionism at a time of the Zionists operations against the people in Gaza is to create dispute among Jewish religion and Islam.

“The basis of Jewism is [to respect for] right of all groups to live.”
