Tehran, IRNA - On the third day of the Asian Games underway in China, Iranian athletes continued to snatch colorful medals for their country in different sports fields.

The Iranian para-athletes have so far grabbed 60 medals, including 19 golds, 24 silvers, and 17 bronzes in various sports categories and ranked second in the medal table after China with 225 medals.

Iran’s women's doubles recurve, Zahra Nemati and Somayyeh Rahimi defeated Indonesia 5-2 and reached semi-final on the third day of the competitions.

Iranian athlete, Alireza Zare (Men's 200m-T35), Rashid Masjedi (Men's Shot Put-F53) each won a gold medal on the third day of the competition for the country’s medals.

Other Iranian athletes including Mahdi Moradi (Men's Long Jump-T13 ), Parastoo Habibi of the Iranian para-athletics team (Women's Club Throw-F32), Hormoz Seidi (Men's Javelin Throw F37) each gained silver medals.

While Mohammad Hossein Karimi (Swimming, Men's 100m Butterfly -- S12 ) with a time of 26.24 seconds, Leila Kabgzan (Womens's discus throw F64), Mahdieh Mohmmadian (women powelifting),  Iranian compound women's team each received bronze medals.
